Innovative repairs and empty homes framework launched
Pretium has launched a new four-year framework, offering access to an innovative, collaborative approach for the procurement of repairs and empty homes services.
Procured in partnership with Contracting Authority Watford Community Housing (WCH) the Maintain framework, which will be managed by Pretium, is built for bespoke delivery.
It provides a comprehensive solution for empty homes and repairs, covering seven workstreams, which can be utilised in any combination:
• Repairs
• Empty homes (voids)
• Contact centre (repairs only or full coverage)
• Complete Property Service (CPS)
• Disrepair (including condensation, damp & mould)
• Aids and adaptations
• Specialist equipment repairs & servicing (including emerging technologies)
The framework is broken down into geographical/regional lots covering England and Wales, with each region then being further split by value:
• Contracts up to £5m
• Contracts over £3m
There is an intentional overlap between the two value bands to offer flexibility to Authorised Users:

Designed with flexibility at its core, Maintain enables Authorised Users to shape fully bespoke solutions for repairs delivery aligned to their unique demographic, geographic and customer needs.
Authorised Users can call off any workstream and choose from a range of commercial models, with a comprehensive suite of adaptable specifications underpinning every workstream.
There are two flexible access options available, both offering a high level of support, and enabling organisations to tailor every element of delivery to suit their requirements.
“We’re absolutely delighted to launch this new framework with Watford Community Housing, giving organisations the freedom to customise their approach to repairs while maintaining consistency and control,” said Jessica John, Director of Pretium Frameworks.
“Pretium and WCH have worked in collaboration with various partners to create an offer where specifications, pricing models and agreements work seamlessly together to drive innovation, responsiveness and tailored delivery.”
Maintain is delivered through a collaborative partnership between WCH, Echelon, Pretium, E2EX, Tpas and appointed framework suppliers.
“The partnership ensures value for money alongside continuous improvement and sector-leading outcomes,” explained Jessica.
Social Value is embedded throughout the framework, and framework suppliers will work closely with Authorised Users to deliver agreed objectives.
Paul Harris, Executive Director of Operations at Watford Community Housing, said: “We are very pleased to be working with Pretium Frameworks and our agreed suppliers to offer this new framework, designed to provide a new, collaborative approach to repairs and empty homes procurement.
“This will make it easier for organisations to access flexible and innovative solutions that are tailored to their needs, and we look forward to seeing this help others in the sector to deliver over the next four years.”
The Maintain framework is one of three complementary frameworks, which together cover the full range of asset management services. Improve (capital delivery and planned works) and Protect (compliance services) will be going live later this year.
