Rooftop Development webinar with Langley Structures
On Tuesday 1 October, Pretium hosted a webinar, focused on Rooftop Development, which was delivered in conjunction with Langley Structures Ltd, supplier on Lot 1 of our Rooftop Development framework.
Greg Patro, Business Development Manager at Langley Structures, explored how to assess the feasibility of sites and what factors to consider when planning a rooftop development.
He discussed several feasibility drivers and value and design factors, including the structural capacity of a building, fire materials and acoustics.
He also explained the importance of considering existing drainage infrastructure, roof design, new occupancy numbers insulation, and drew on a number of case studies by Langley to demonstrate different approaches to rooftop developments.
