Public Sector Fleet Conference focuses on future of fleet management

Published On: July 8, 2026

Pretium Frameworks’ Framework Solutions Manager, Tom Millican, recently attended the Public Sector Fleet Conference, joining professionals from across the sector to discuss the future of fleet management.

While electrification remains a key priority for many organisations, the conference also highlighted the continuing importance of health, safety and driver wellbeing.

As fleets introduce faster vehicles, new driving technologies and more advanced driver-assistance systems, ongoing driver engagement and training will remain essential. The transition to cleaner transport is not only about selecting the right vehicles. It is also about ensuring drivers feel informed, supported and confident behind the wheel.

Tom manages Pretium’s Total Fleet Solutions Framework, procured with contracting authority Chime Housing. The framework offers access to a comprehensive range of electric vehicles, as well as supporting authorised users with the transition from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric fleets. This includes feasibility studies, load analysis and the supply and installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

The framework also provides specialist consultancy and driver engagement services, including EV discovery days. These services help organisations make informed decisions and manage the transition to electric vehicles with confidence.
