Pretium presents on decarbonisation delivery at Fulham Pier
Pretium Director Jessica John delivered a presentation on decarbonisation delivery at an Asset Management Improvement Partnership (AMIP) event at Fulham Pier on 2 June.
She was joined on stage by Rowena Claydon-Smith, Head of Energy Efficiency, Abri, and Ben Whiterod, Head of Retrofit Guildmore as they shared insights into the GFP Decarbonisation Delivery Framework, which provides retrofit and professional consultancy services to support the delivery of decarbonisation works.
Jess talked about the lessons learnt to date, both the good and the bad, and how they were being used to shape future delivery.
Since launching in 2023, the framework has had a throughput of over £345 million live and completed projects, with a further £62 million currently mobilising.
The session covered the development and growth of the framework and the partnership model required to successfully deliver large-scale decarbonisation programmes.
Rowena highlighted Abri’s use of the GFP Decarbonisation Delivery Framework as a non-turnkey model, grouping projects geographically and drawing on a range of specialist delivery partners including Guildmore.
The presentation included a case study detailing a programme of retrofit works at Clifton Lodge, an independent living scheme comprising 19 flats.
There was a focus on the importance of collaboration and how decarbonisation delivery is as much about relationships, governance and coordination as it is about technology and funding.
By bringing housing providers, consultants and contractors together through a structured framework and shared objectives, projects can be delivered more efficiently, create better value for money and achieve stronger outcomes for residents.
