EV Charger Installations in Workplace Backed by Government Grants
Concerns over range anxiety or charging costs can act as a barrier to the uptake of electric vehicles but from May 2024 businesses will be able to access grants to support with the installation of EV chargers in the workplace.
The Workplace Charging Scheme can assist with the cost of installing charging sockets, while the EV Infrastructure Grant provides funding for infrastructure and the installation of charging points for drivers and fleet staff.
Businesses are able to take advantage of both grants, giving access to nearly £30,000 of funding.
You can learn more about the grants, their benefits and how to access them in the latest blog by Northgate Vehicle Hire, delivery partner for our Flexible Fleet Services framework, here.
