Pretium Frameworks Attends Westminster Insight Building Safety Conference

Pretium Frameworks was represented at the Westminster Insight Building Safety Conference on Tuesday 16 September by Business Development Manager Joe Taylor, and Framework Manager Michelle Cannon.

The conference brought together leaders from across housing, construction, regulation, and fire safety to discuss the future of building safety in light of evolving legislation and the requirements of the Building Safety Act. Topics included changes in guidance from the Building Safety Regulator, top tips and avoiding common issues for Gateway 2 applications, resident engagement strategies and the development of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs), and strategies for improving regulation and accountability across the sector.

The discussions highlighted the importance of resident engagement, collaboration, and sustainable change, while also addressing the practical challenges organisations encounter in meeting requirements for higher-risk buildings and building assessment certificates.

The event provided an opportunity for the Pretium team to share how frameworks can support the sector in delivering safer, more resilient homes through smarter procurement, contractor oversight, and long-term value planning. Pretium’s Building and Fire Safety framework, developed with contracting authority the Hyde Group, was also a key point of discussion.
