Celebrating one year of our GFP Decarbonisation Delivery framework

One year ago today we launched our GFP Decarbonisation Delivery framework, developed with Contracting Authority Abri Group on behalf of the Greener Futures Partnership (GFP).

GFP comprises Abri, Anchor, Home Group, Hyde Group and Sanctuary, a collective of like-minded housing providers that was set up in 2021 as its members believed that a joint effort would be more effective in helping the social housing sector seriously address the green agenda. Between them they have a combined stock of over 300,000 homes and represent 9% of the total social housing market

Since the launch of the framework which provides retrofit and professional consultancy services to support the delivery of decarbonisation works, an estimated value of £156 million of work has been awarded through the framework, which has been accessed by 29 client organisations.

There are currently 25 live projects (including projects from all GFP members) and 13 awarded.

The framework continues to go from strength to strength as it continues to support housing providers to ensure that homes achieve at least an EPC Rating of C by the government target date of 2030.

We expect it to get even busier this year with Wave 3 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund.
