Launch of Worcestershire and West Midlands Development framework

On the 30 September, we launched the new Worcestershire and West Midlands Development framework at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham.  
 
Developed with Contracting Authority Community Housing, it covers Wyre Forest and areas surrounding Worcestershire and the West Midlands, with two Lots providing national coverage.  
 
This multi-disciplinary framework is designed to provide a single point of access to works and services for all parts of the development process, from site preparation to demolition works, including a wide range of consultancy services, and consists of 11 Lots:  
 
– Construction works – up to £4m  
– Construction works – between £3m and £10m  
– Construction works – between £10m and £25m  
– Construction works – over £25m  
– Employers Agent  
– Architects  
– Principal designer  
– Structural and Civil Engineering  
– Development Manager  
– Demolition and Removal  
– M&E Consultants  
 
The framework is suitable for the construction of both homes and non-dwelling units, including shops, offices, and light industrial and industrial units, as well as commercial, community and educational buildings, and it is designed to ensure best practice is at the heart of development activity, supporting both large and small-scale works.
