New £1.3bn Building and Fire Safety Framework Launched

April 19, 2023

Pretium Frameworks and The Hyde Group launched a new £1.35bn Building and Fire Safety framework today.

Designed to support housing providers with all aspects of building safety compliance, from the supply and installation of fire doors to fire risk assessments, it has been created to offer quality services, best practice and assurance, with a competent and accredited supply chain.

Building on the success of Pretium and Hyde’s first-generation fire safety services framework, it is designed to offer a solution to each element of work under the Building Safety Act.

Those involved in the design, construction and refurbishment of buildings will have more formal responsibilities for ensuring compliance with building regulations, under the Act, which gives greater powers to prosecute for instances of non-compliance. It also requires accurate and up-to-date digital records to be kept on the design, construction and maintenance of buildings.

The framework, which will formally go live on Monday, offers an easy to use and flexible mechanism for housing providers to deliver vital building safety projects, large and small, using a competent and accredited supply chain.

It has been developed using expert specialist advice and all suppliers were subject to an intense evaluation process.

The PCR 2015-compliant, four-year framework is split into 11 workstreams, delivered by main contractors and specialists, and nine of these are further broken down into regional Lots.
